The Rising Line

In the Pacific, the climate crisis has destroyed homes, eroded ancestral lands, depleted food sources and displaced communities. Every fraction of a degree matters to the millions of people who call this region home.

The Rising Line brings to the forefront stories from Pacific communities: stories of resilience, adaptation and hope, as well as the urgent need for greater climate financing, more ambitious climate action and a transition to renewable energy. Above all, these stories show why keeping the 1.5°C goal within reach matters.

The book has been compiled in collaboration with UN agencies, funds and programmes, bringing stories and perspectives directly from Pacific communities to you.
